SLATER DENIES RETIREMENT RUMORS
If you have been watching the Rip Curl Pro Search Chile webcast you could see Dean Morrison beat Kelly Slater in the El Gringo tubes. Both surfers were performing at supernatural levels that left spectators around the world frothing.But out of this heat came the rumour that this was Kellys last heat in competition and that he if pulling out of competitive surfing and had retired. To end this Slater has denied the rumours and he is amped for the next events that will take place in J-Bay, Trestles and France. Kelly is currently holding 6th spot on the ASP World Tour ratings, does he still have a chance for his 9th Title?
